Our Story

We are a family run business in Bedfordshire Est. 1981 by Franco Loraso. We are available for events throughout most of the UK. We specialise in providing ice cream vans, modern and vintage.

We pride ourselves in always offering a professional and reliable service with a smile and at competitive rates. Please call us for a quote, our ice cream vans are available for hire for all types of events.

1981

Franco bought his first van for £500 And started to go round the streets of Leighton Buzzard the van was a 1967 Bedford CA.

1986

We attended our first Saturday market that we still attend to this day!

1988

We started to work at shows and events all over the UK.

1990

We started working with HD Events at beautiful stately homes around the UK.

1995

Our first corporate event for BBC in London.

1998

We attended our first polo match event in Windsor

2000

Corporate events for Virgin Atlantic

2005

We joined HD Events on their Noddy and friends tour!

2009

Paolo joins Loraso Ice Cream

2014

Happy Winter Hot chocolate van is born

2015

English Heritage Events around the UK.

2016

We head to Facebook for our first Corporate event.

2017

Branded Ice Cream becomes our next adventure.

August 2018

We serve Ice Cream at the Antiques Road Show

October 2018

Broke the Guinness World Record for Largest Parade of Ice Cream Vans.

Guinness World Record Holders

On 16/10/2018 we set a new a new Guinness World Record. Loraso Ice Cream and 84 ice cream vans took part in the largest convoy ever! The vans came from all over the UK, Ireland and even Belgium.
